Gregg Barrett (Director of Sales and Marketing)

Gregg holds a degree in Marketing and Business Management and has spent the last six years as a business analyst at Cylon Technology, providing direction to the corporate strategy, product development and business development. Gregg joined Cylon in 2003 after working in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical sector. At Cylon Gregg was initially tasked to conduct market research and investigate all the aspects of Spend Management.

 

Gregg Barrett represents the IACCM (International Association for Contract & Commercial Management) on the Federation for Supply Chain Management Associations (FSCMA).  Gregg is head of the IACCM in Southern Africa and sits on the IACCM Global Advisory Board.

 

Further to this was the formulation of reports on how procurement in Southern Africa could foster the development of the internal market in the region, for SADC (Southern African Development Community) and ASCCI (Association for SADC Chambers of Commerce and Industry).

 

Gregg was also responsible for assessing the level of supply management competence in the public and private sectors in the South African environment. This entailed gathering information across 5 key areas; Organization, Process, Knowledge, Technology, Performance measurement and optimization.
