Cylon Technology (Pty) Ltd is a subsidiary of Sakhumnotho Investment Services and is the leading provider of Contract Lifecycle Management solutions in Africa, representing the world leader, Upside Software throughout the region.
Cylon was formed in 2002 and is focused on providing software solutions and services, which includes business analysis, implementation and ongoing maintenance in the areas of Strategic Sourcing (RFI, RFQ, RFP), Contract Lifecycle Management, and Catalogue based eProcurement. In addition to this Cylon is the VAR for Castek an Insurance Solution provider with solutions covering; Policy Administration, Claims Administration and Claims Procurement.
The solution suite provided by Cylon is centered on addressing specific business requirements and in particular to complement the existing investments organisations already have.
Cylon's founders are Mike van Niekerk and Paul Briggs who began their careers in the ICT industry in 1983 and 1980 respectively. Through the years they have worked with JSE (Johannesburg Stock Exchange), Bank Serve, Mohawk Data Sciences, Siemens, Mobil (Engen), Unexcor, Platinum and CA (Computer Associates).
Further to this Cylon leverages experience and knowledge gained from the local market and the wealth of experience through the experience of the organisations that it represents in Africa, namely Upside Software Inc and Castek Software Inc. and through the majority shareholder, Sakhumnotho Investment Services, which is a division of Sakhumnotho Group Holdings Pty Ltd |
