Paul has 30 years of well-rounded experience within the Information Technology industry, starting out in the very technical area of assembler programming. He progressed from there to managing a team of 15 System Engineers in the Network and Communications systems division.
Paul was subsequently appointed Divisional Marketing manager within the Data Networking Division of Siemens where together with 5 product managers, he was responsible for the development of the company's product marketing and promotions plan. At the end of this 18 month assignment, he was appointed Divisional General Manager of the Data Networks Division responsible for Sales and Marketing, Development and Support.
In 1991 Siemens merged with Nixdorf Computers and Paul elected to move into Sales as Account Manager responsible for SAA, Escom and Telkom accounts. During the years that followed, he attended 7 out of 7 of the overseas 100% plus achievement club seminars. Paul left Siemens in 1997 and was immediately contracted by Siemens Nixdorf in a consultancy roll to project manage a Telkom Y2K project. In 2002, Paul together with Mike van Niekerk began Cylon Technology.
